Peugeot - Citroen Firmware Update V.2.86

The firmware is compatible with systems such as RT6 and RT6 FF with firmware 2.3x, 2.7x, or 2.8x.

Procedure :

• Start the engine and wait 1 minute.

• Insert the software CD-ROM into the RT6 audio/navigation system.

• When a window appears with a message to start the update, click "Yes". If the symptom of "black screen and permanent no sound and cyclic noise from the CD player and no communication with the diagnostic tool" occurs, no window will be displayed and the update will start automatically.

• The update then starts for a duration of up to 45 minutes with a sequence of RT6 audio/navigation system, internal modules, update messages, and black screens.

• At the end of the update, the RT6 audio/navigation system restarts with the current application, and the same update request message then appears continuously.

• Click on "NO".

• Eject the software CD-ROM.

• Wait 1 minute.
