European Navigation Update for FORD SYNC2 F12

The update is suitable for the following vehicles/models with the Sync 2 touchscreen navigation system:

What should you do when the F12 card doesn't work?

Sync2 software update to version 3.10 :

First of all, the easy one, updating from 3.08 to 3.10, including NL, Dutch language:

1. Download the new software update
2. Grab an empty USB stick, at least 1GB, formatted.
3. Copy the SyncMyRide folder and the autoinstall.lst file to the USB stick.
4. Insert this into your USB port and remove any other USB devices you may have connected in the car. Turn on Sync2, let the car idle, or start driving. Turn off start-stop.
5. After 30 minutes and a few restarts, the update was successful.
6. You will just have to sync your phones again.
7. The upgrade to 3.10 was successful.
